Chamber of Commerce Departments for the Delmarva Peninsula

Our unique area located along the East Coast, commonly referred to as the Delmarva Peninsula, is actually a collection of multiple counties spread across three states. Taking it's name from the abbreviated names of each state, it was originally referred to as "Del-Mar-Va", referencing eight counties from the eastern shore of Maryland, three counties from Delaware, and two from coastal Virginia.

Included in Maryland are Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somerset, Talbot, Worcester, and Wicomico counties. Virginia's eastern shore refers to Accomack and Northampton, and Delaware includes Kent, New Castle, and Sussex County. Below I have compiled a listing of the various chamber of commerce departments located across our region, suitable for travelers, visitors or residents to refer to when seeking local information and business resources.

I hope you found this information useful in exploring our beautiful corner of the world. The Delmarva Peninsula truly has something for everyone with it's diverse natural attractions, coastal delights, outdoor activities and local history. Happy travels!

Sincerely,
Andrea Baumann
