Capture the Moment: Sell Your Service

Sharing "what you do" - telling the story of your talented work, finished product, or end result - is a key step many people miss. They get so caught up in content they are told is "post-worthy", that they forget to capture and share the real essence of what their brand does, and that's the heart and soul of marketing.


Our job as marketers is to tell the story of a brand; not constantly or overwhelmingly - but through quality images, short videos, and descriptive posts. Take a look at the following examples of various industries and see how each might showcase a service or product in a way which best suits their profession.


• An auto repair shop might post images such as "before & after" or a short video.

• A bakery could benefit from pictures of their masterpiece on display at a wedding reception, or clips of thrilled clients seeing a beautiful creation.

• Restaurants can offer behind-the-scenes views, walk through the steps of setting up for a party, or close-up views of meals.

• A cleaning service could benefit from a time-lapse reel featuring their process and end result, or the reactions of delighted customers.


Summary: Demonstrate what you DO; highlight the exceptional items you CREATE; spotlight the problems you SOLVE.
