What is one of the best ways to build stronger communities and healthier economies? Choosing to spend with small businesses, ones owned and operated by neighbors and friends, helps strengthen our towns and cities by keeping more money locally invested where we live, own homes, and raise our families.

As a small business advocate and champion of independent retailers, supporting locally-owned establishments here on Delmarva has always been a priority to me. Not only do I appreciate the hard work put in by dedicated entrepreneurs and families, dining and shopping at such places has always felt more meaningful than simply visiting corporate chains. I created these simple images for small business owners who could add them to flyers, promotional materials or advertising, sending a consistent message about more thoughtful choices this holiday season.
