We're Fighting Social Isolation: Universal Letter Writing Week

Universal Letter Writing Week ~ Recognized during the second full week of January, this is meant to encourage us to pick up a pen and paper and write to someone. Sounds kind of old-fashioned, doesn't it? Yep! But in today's often frantic world, where taking time for genuine interactions has become so overlooked, I think this is a wonderful opportunity to get in touch with an old friend, relative or a couple of your most loyal customers.

About #ULWW: "With the advancement of technology, letter writing is slowly becoming a lost art. To keep up with the hustle and bustle of life, people prefer quicker ways of communicating. Indeed, e-mail, text, and instant messenger are often more convenient. However, there is nothing like getting a good ‘ol fashioned letter in the mail". Source: National Day Calendar

Let's fight social isolation by making the effort this week to send a few thoughtful cards or letters and let special people be reminded they are loved and remembered. I'm planning on it! #universalletterwritingweek
