Below is the list of special occasions for month-long themes in April - take a look and identify several that relate to your industry or profession. Pick a few fun topics to build sales promotions and engagement posts around, every few days, once a week, or more, if you feel included. Feel free to download and print my graphics for reference! • holding a photo contest (asking followers to post their best picture of a rainbow for National Find A Rainbow Day on April 3rd),
• sharing a recipe relating to the food holiday for a specific date,
• asking shoppers to guess the number of items (such as the number of kernels in a jar for National Caramel Popcorn Day),
• hosting a giveaway promotion around an animal or certain type of occupation (giving away frog stickers at your car dealership which has a frog logo, a coupon for pizza, or even partnering up with a nearby business for a festive collaboration).

The sky is the limit on what it is you decide to offer, or the way in which you celebrate a special occasion, but do decide in advance if you wish to participate all month long, for a week, or simply a day during April. Have fun with your ideas, ask employees, team members, and the public to join you, and be sure and broadcast whatever event you decide to host across all your social channels. For maximum engagement, take photos and post them with a snappy hashtag, share your plans, and invite people to tag and check into your business location! Make this month one which boosts your online interaction and puts you front and center as a memorable part of your customer's lives.
