To be successful, you're going to have to get tough with yourself; I mean, brutally honest and full-on willing to analyze and accept a need for change. Nothing good comes without hard work (you've heard me say that 14,489 times); one must be willing to stay critical enough to evaluate and discern what is best for your growth strategy.
Reminder; not everything you WANT to address, solve, or achieve, is going to be possible, so a considerable amount of self reflection is needed as you sort through "wants" vs. "needs".

• "What exactly is our business? Is our success based on multiple products or services, or specifically tied to just one or two main concepts?"
• "Does this brilliant idea I had at 3am really fit into our strategy?"
• "How can we branch out and yet not lose our focus on what's making us successful?"
• "Is this door absolutely necessary for me to walk through and spend my valuable time on?"
Do you see a theme here yet? Each question you ask yourself must be for the greater good, so to speak; a reflection and thoughtful consideration of NEEDS vs WANTS. Put another way, is this idea worth pursuing, i.e., going down a rabbit hole for, or is it merely a distraction?
Get used to be uncomfortable having these discussions, because you can't plunge blindly through every open door and remain effective.
Thank you for visiting my blog ~ I hope you found something which sparks growth, resonates with your journey, or encourages new ideas.
