"Demonstrate Their Delight" (Capturing THAT Moment)

In careers involving photography or video, grabbing that ultra-special occasion, catching the perfect shot, or capturing an exquisite interaction between people, is THE GOAL. But not just for those types of work - honing in on split second glimpses of a personal reaction to a product or service - that's our goal as marketers to discover, identify, and capture, because those moments ARE EVERYTHING.

If you have the ability to learn what to look for and how to harness it, your work becomes simple; catch more exceptional human reactions and use them to illustrate just how exceptional your product is. A photograph of a bride seeing her wedding cake for the first time; a homeowner walking back into their house and taking a first look at the improvements you've just completed; even a customer at a farmers market sinking their teeth into the ultimate fresh, warm, fragrant slice of homemade bread or juicy, delectable, peach - all of these things are well worth your time and effort to document and use in your brand presentation.

"Nothing conveys quality product quite like the emotion on someone's face when they open a handmade gift, see their personalized product, or experience an extra-meaningful moment."

I wanted to give you an example of this in action; there is a blueberry farm near me, here in southern Delaware, that I spend a lot of time at each spring/early summer. Could I be their biggest fan? Not sure, but I can promise you the berries are THE MOST DELICIOUS, exceptional delights I've ever enjoyed. Anyway, one of the young men working there walked up to me one day, and said here, would you like to try this variety that about to be ready for picking in a few days? The minute I gobbled up the sample he offered I wished there had been a video running, as it was probably the single best blueberry I'd ever eaten! I was so hooked I think we returned 15 times that season to pick at their farm, but it was THAT MOMENT of total delight and deliciousness that would have a great influence on people; the moment of surprise, being pleased, happiness, etc., and if you can capture that.....you've got marketing gold.

Thank you for visiting my blog ~ I hope you found something which sparks growth, resonates with your journey, or encourages new ideas.
